🍴 Ingredients

  • 250g pizza dough or thin flatbread dough
  • 200g creme fraiche
  • 2 large onions, very thinly sliced
  • 150g lardons or thin-cut bacon
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt and white pepper

Caramelize onions slowly in a little oil over low heat for 20 minutes.

Preheat oven to its maximum temperature with a pizza stone or steel.

Roll dough as thin as possible into a rough oval.

Spread creme fraiche evenly, leaving a thin border.

Season with nutmeg, salt and white pepper.

Scatter caramelized onions evenly.

Add lardons.

Bake at maximum heat for 8-10 minutes until edges are crisp and charred.

Cut into rectangles and serve immediately.
